2nd Annual Shakir Fest 

Shakir Fest is an annual community event hosted by Khalil Shakir, star wide receiver for the Buffalo Bills and former standout at Boise State University. Each summer, Shakir returns to Boise to give back to the city that helped shape his journey—bringing together youth, families, and supporters for a weekend centered around impact. 

The event features a youth football camp - creating opportunities for local kids to learn, grow, and be inspired. As well as a charity golf tournament, rallying the community around a meaningful cause. What makes Shakir Fest truly special is its mission: this year, 100% of proceeds are donated to the Idaho Humane Society, supporting animal welfare and making a lasting difference across the region. More than just an event, Shakir Fest is a celebration of community, gratitude, and giving back.
